Mark Knowles 2009 Celebrity Tennis Invitational
Dec 10th

The Mark Knowles 2009 Celebrity Tennis Invitational — an annual charity event run by Mark Knowles and his mother Vicky (pictured below with Mark) – took place last weekend. To date the charity event has raised over four hundred thousand dollars for Bahamian charities.

Andy Roddick could not make it this year (but he plans to make it for 2010), thankfully former ATP newcomer of the year, Benjamin Becker (presently ranked #40) made an appearance. With a serve that can top 130′s — he did not disappoint.

Also Mark’s Mixed Doubles partner who “carried”
Mark to his his first 2009 Wimbledon Mixed Doubles Championship — Anna-Lena Groenefeld – made an appearance as well.
