Tells Jaime on how the two met: “I was out with a few of my girlfriends (just left a Jimmy Buffett concert) and we stopped off at a bar on our way home…Joe was there with some friends…he walked up, we started talking and went on our first date a week later! That was a little over two years ago. Joe is a Police Officer and I am a Registered Nurse. We love to do just about anything…traveling especially…that’s how we ended up with a destination wedding!”
Here are some pictures of one of the best bars on Grand Bahama Island – Margarita Villa Sandbar. It’s an awesome laid back, air-conditioned, American-influenced beach bar/restaurant with a floor of pearly white sand.
It’s owned by David “Jinx” Jenkins — a HUGE Elvis fan. Sand Bar plays lots of classic rock and pop from the 60′s, 70′s and 80′s. If you love Elvis, Ronald Reagan and the Miami Dolphins — then you’ll love Jinx who is a Bahamian combination of all three (and he is a loyal FNM to boot!)
If you don’t, you will still love Sandbar — as fans of all those other football teams — still wishing for a perfect season — are all welcome.
Oh did I mention Jinx loves Elvis???
