Brad and Christine decided to Tie The Knot at Pelican Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island, which was has been awarded the prestigious “Small Treasures of the Bahamas” designation by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, in recognition of the rewarding island experience it provides to visitors.
Remarks Christine on how the two met: “Brad and I actually met online, not on a dating website but on Craigslist haha. There is a section where you post random things/complaints/etc. and I used to read them when I was bored at work. He posted that he was having a bad day since he lost his ATM card and also included his picture. I saw it and thought he was really cute and decided to email him.”
“Sooo we met, started dating and about a month and a half later he joined the Marines and was stationed in North Carolina. We had a long distance relationship until he got out of the Marines in May of 2009. We took a trip to the Bahamas last summer to celebrate his getting out of the Marines and fell in love with the gorgeous beaches so we thought it would be great to have our wedding there.”
